Hi! My name is Jamy-Anne Laprise Jacques and here is the story of how Laprise Photography came to life!

My passion for newborn photography started in 2022 when I had my son. As a first-time mom, I desperately wanted pictures of those precious early days. However, the distance to a professional photographer and the daunting idea of traveling with my newborn led me to take my own photos at home.

By the time my daughter arrived in 2024, I knew I needed family portraits and newborn pictures. Understanding how quickly time flies, I booked a session with a professional photographer. This experience solidified my desire to offer this service in my community.

I absolutely adore babies! I get so enthusiastic about the process of planning each session, crafting unique and heartfelt scenes for every little one. Working with parents to capture early memories of their new family member is incredibly fulfilling. Every family has its own story, and I'm privileged to capture those stories for them.
